Updated November 4, 2026. These notices apply to IE SafeSpace’s educational courses, guides, calculators, questionnaires, and resource links.
Education and professional scope
Educational material helps you ask informed questions and plan next steps. It is not individualized medical, mental-health, legal, insurance, engineering, or other licensed professional advice. Using a course or tool does not establish a professional-client relationship. A separately agreed service scope controls a professional engagement.
Health information and urgent situations
Symptoms can have many causes. A symptom pattern, environmental sample, ERMI or HERTSMI-2 score cannot diagnose CIRS or another illness, establish what caused symptoms, or certify safe occupancy. Discuss health concerns and changes to medications, supplements, diet, exercise, heat exposure, or treatment with an appropriately licensed clinician. Seek emergency assistance for an immediate medical emergency; do not wait for a questionnaire or report review.
Building investigations and DIY limitations
Testing describes particular samples and conditions and must be interpreted with building history, inspection findings, sampling methods, and limitations. No test, course, or cleaning method guarantees a mold-free building or a health outcome. Do not disturb suspect asbestos or lead, enter unsafe spaces, work on energized equipment, or mix cleaning chemicals. Use qualified professionals for hazardous or regulated work and follow product labels and applicable requirements.
Legal, rental, real estate, and insurance topics
Rules, deadlines, disclosures, contractual duties, and coverage depend on location and individual facts. Educational examples are not a legal opinion, an insurance coverage determination, or permission to withhold rent, break a lease, conceal a defect, or miss a claim deadline. Consult a qualified attorney, licensed insurance professional, or other appropriate adviser before acting.
Texas mold roles
Texas regulates mold assessment and remediation. Assessment and remediation on the same project are subject to independence requirements; holding credentials in both roles does not authorize performing both on the same project. Verify the applicable individual and company licenses and project requirements with TDLR. Educational course completion is not a professional license or a regulated training credential.
AI, evidence, and third-party resources
AI-assisted output can be incomplete or incorrect and needs appropriate human review. References are provided for context; evidence strength varies by claim and population. Mentioning EPA, CDC, IICRC, ISEAI, or another organization does not imply its endorsement of IE SafeSpace. Independently check provider qualifications, scope, suitability, costs, and current credentials.
